Why the word "azymux"?

I've been asked this question a lot of times!

The character string 'azymux' does not mean a single thing. I used to have a variety of different online names. I became frustrated with being ematthews0, ematthews1, ematthews48 and decided that I wanted a consistent online identity. To come up with the new username, here were my requirements:

• Six characters long, as this used to be the common lower threshold.
• Start with a vowel.
• End with an 'x' (because I liked it!)
• Be relatively pronounceable.
• Have zero search results for the string.

In the end, this name matched all the requirements and is now a pretty consistent identity for myself online!
